Throughtout 2012 / 2013, Ian MAYNARD was a serving prisoner at HMP Kirklevington and during that time he was allowed leave from prison to carry out arranged work in Middlesbrough. Evidence showed that MAYNARD deliberately flaunted these regulations and used the allocated time to have criminal meetings and make telephone calls to facilitate the supply of controlled drugs.
On 5th October 2012, Tabriz SABIR was arrested having been found in possession of 1kg of Heroin with a street value of approximately £74,000. The drugs had been transported across country from Birmingham to Newcastle via train. Investigation showed that MAYNARD was a key player in the organisation of this drugs supply.
