With the impending launch of the North East CiSP (Cyber-security Information Sharing Platform) in December, local business' are invited to express their interest...

The CiSP, part of CERT-UK, is a joint industry government initiative to share cyber threats and vulnerability information in order to increase overall situational awareness of the cyber threat and therefore reduce the impact on UK business.

CiSP allows members from across sectors and organisations to exchange cyber threat information in real time, on a secure and dynamic environment, whilst operating within a framework that protects the confidentiality of shared information.

Representatives from CERT UK have agreed to run a one day event for the North East Region, on Thursday the 10th of December. This event is free to join and it’s an excellent opportunity to raise awareness and take advice from some of the governments leading experts in the field of cybercrime. If you are interested in joining this event please get in touch with either D.S Martin Wilson [email protected] or [email protected].

In the mean time remember the CiSP is completely free to join, and further information can be found at
